A woman was arrested after assaulting officers at a home in Youngstown on Monday.

According to police, they were called to a home on Evanston Avenue after reports of an altercation getting out of hand.

When officers arrived they said they found 21-year-old Breiash Floyd upstairs screaming at another woman and telling the police to get out.

A police report stated that Floyd was very aggravated and although they tried, officers were unable to calm her down.

Floyd continued to say she was going to 'beat-up' the other woman who she was yelling at.

According to officers Floyd then tried to go after the other woman and when an officer blocked her way, she pushed him back.

Police say that Floyd rushed the officers multiple times, even pushing a laundry basket into one of the officer's legs.

When police advised her that she was under arrest she resisted and continued to fight.

According to police Floyd continued to resist even while in the back of the police car by banging her head against the cage and kicking the door.

Floyd was taken to the Mahoning County Jail and charged with Resisting Arrest and Assault.
