A rollover crash involving a semi truck and sedan, backed up traffic in Howland.

The accident happened just after 1:00 PM on Thursday in the eastbound lanes of State Route 82, after the on-ramp from 46, before Howland-Wilson Road.

The semi driver tells us he heard screeching tires, saw the driver of the car go off the side of the road and her car flip over four times, then the car hit the semi's front fender even as he tried to get out of the way.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.  We're told by a witness she appeared to have a gash on her head and her hand was injured, but she got out of the vehicle on her own and was shaking, saying she was scared.

State Troopers responded to the scene and traffic was down to one lane on State Route 82 until the accident was cleared.

The investigation is on-going and the Ohio State Highway Patrol says any potential charges are pending.
