Students at Howland High School got some extra motivation this afternoon.

Brad Hurtig, who lost both of his hands in a factory accident, spoke with students about overcoming the challenges in their lives.

Hurtig played football in his small Ohio town and through hard work and dedication continued to play after the accident.

Through hard work and dedication, Hurtig continued to play football.

He received all-state honors his senior year after recording 111 tackles, all of this without his hands.

Hurtig has a published book, "Find a Way. How A Water Bottle Took Me From An Amputee To All-State" about his story and has been featured on ESPN, NBC, CBS and the New York Times.
