LIBERTY TWP, Ohio -

A Valley restaurant owner is making an offer to help federal workers take a bite out of the partial government shutdown.

This is supposed to be payday for federal workers. But for some, there will be no pay as the shutdown entered its 21st day on Friday.

While some workers have been laid off, others are required to continue working without being paid.

Jack Kravitz says that anyone showing their Federal ID at his Kravitz Deli can buy a sandwich at half-price.

The offer is good for dine-in or carry-out until the shutdown is over, according to Kravitz.

The deli is located at 3135 Belmont Ave., Liberty Township, Ohio.
