Boardman Local Schools upcoming bus driver job fair

Posted: Updated:
BOARDMAN, Ohio -

Boardman Local Schools has scheduled a bus driver job fair Wednesday, February 20.

They are inviting interested applicants to tour the new bus garage and learn more about the necessary skills from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

"It's a rewarding and flexible job, and it pays $16 an hour for our substitute bus drivers," said Ryan Dunn, transportation supervisor.  "There is a shortage of school bus drivers not just here, but everywhere. We have onboard instructors who can help you get you the training needed."

Applicants are asked to bring a valid driver's license and be prepared for an onsite interview.

The Boardman bus garage is on Raupp Avenue adjacent to the Boardman Township Municipal Building.
