FARRELL, Pa. -

The second suspect in connection with a year-old Farrell murder has been arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Twenty-four-year-old Desmond Dwayne Greene, of Sharon, has been charged with murder in the second degree, aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal attempt robbery, criminal attempt burglary, and persons not to possess firearms.

According to police, the arrest comes a year after the murder of 49-year-old Harry Kennedy, Jr.

Kennedy, Jr. was shot to death at his Wallis Avenue home in January of 2018 after the suspects attempted to invade his home and rob him.

Gerald Allen Frank was the first person to be arrested for the murder and robbery of Kennedy, Jr.

Police believe that Greene and Frank attempted to rob Kennedy of cash and narcotics.

Greene has been arraigned on his charges and is being held in the Mercer County Jail without bond.

Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the case and say that additional charges are anticipated in the future. If anyone has any information about this case they are encouraged to contact PSP Mercer at (724)-662-6162.
