A Mahoning County Grand Jury has indicted a man that was found being held at gunpoint by a Campbell homeowner.

46-year-old Steven Monday has been indicted by a Mahoning County Grand Jury on one count of aggravated trespass and two counts of assault.

Monday is accused of walking into a home on Regent Street in Campbell and punching his son-in-law in the face and punching the homeowner in the head.

Officers were called to the Regent Street home and found the homeowner pointing a gun at Monday who was sitting on the hallway floor.

After officers asked the homeowner to put down the gun, she told officers that Monday has walked into the home, punched his son-in-law in the face and punched her in the head.

According to the police report, the son-in-law struck Monday in the face with a pole to defend himself.

The homeowner told police she grabbed a gun and pointed it at Monday after he allegedly knocked down her mother who had tried to intervene in the brawl.

Monday told police that the fight was over some offensive comments that his son-in-law had made to him earlier.
