Valley Congressman Tim Ryan released a statement on Friday showing the amount of money the campaign has raised.

According to the release, the Ryan campaign has raised $895,000 with more than 13,000 individual donors.

A handful of other candidates are listed by the Federal Election Committee (FEC) as having more donations.

According to the data from the FEC, Donald Trump leads the pack with nearly $98 million in total receipts.

Senator Bernie Sanders is listed as the leader among Democratic candidates with over $20 million.

John Delaney, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Beto O'Rourke, Amy Klobuchar, Corey Booker, and Pete Buttigieg have all raised over $7 million in total receipts according to the FEC.

A statement from the Ryan campaign says, "Tim Ryan for America's disclosure shows that we have the resources needed to get our message out and compete in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina. At this early stage in the campaign, that is all that matters."

According to the Democrat website, to qualify for the second Democratic debate candidates need to either register 1% or more in three polls (nationally or in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, or Nevada), or by having 65,000 unique donors and a minimum of 200 unique donors per state in at least 20 states.
